On rare occasions things may go wrong.
The supporter may have incorrectly entered their email address during the payment procedure, or their Spam or Whitelist settings might have prevented the email from being delivered, or the email may have been moved to a special folder.
Sometimes PayPal addresses are different than the address that was entered, and this too can cause confusion.

If you paid by PayPal, login to your account and double check your bank details are up to date and that the order was successful.
